Mexican leather has a unique tanning process that makes its leather feel dry, hard and stiff and is many times finished by painting with bright colors. Leather from Paraguay and other countries in South America use tanning from local trees, indigenous to each country. Leather from Paraguay uses tanning from the Quebracho and Mimosa trees These indigenous trees coupled with our proprietary tanning process is the “secret-sauce” to the buttery soft leather hides we produce that age over time to even more beautiful luster and sheen.
