Latin Name: Juniperus horizontalis ‘Wiltonii'
Common Name: Blue Rug Juniper
Foliage: Needle-like, blue-green, evergreen
Mature Height: 4-6 inches
Mature Spread: 6 to 8 feet
Growth Habit: Small shrub or ground cover, low trailing, moderate to rapid speed.
Soil Conditions: Tolerates poor soils, likes sandy soils, will grow near sea shore, does not like excessive moisture, needs well drained soils
Sun Exposure: Full sun
Uses: The lowest growing of all the ornamental juniper ground covers.
It creates a dense carpet-like mat along the ground.
It is an excellent plant for slopes and banks to help stop erosion.
In addition to their use as ground covers the juniper shrubs and their relatives make excellent specimens for rock gardens.
Maintenance: Low-maintenance

If for any reason you need to change your shipping week due to temperatures or that you may not be home for delivery, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make that change to our schedule for you.

Packing Slips: It is our policy to ship all live plant orders with its packing slip and order/plant information. With this policy, we meet the Agriculture laws of every state.

Our Guarantee: We promise and guarantee to deliver healthy plants to our customers in good condition. Proper handling and transplanting of stock live plants is the customer's responsibility upon receipt of the plant by the customer. We also offer a complete 30 day return policy. Returns will be accepted when we have been notified within 30 days of delivery. This period of time is important as to the care of the plants is in the buyer's hand. No additional, extended or long term warranty is expressed or implied.

As an online nursery, we do not restrict any live plants by its hardy zone. Plants purchased outside of its zone will be at the risk of the buyer. The plant's new environment will determine its success and continued viability.
