This listing is for a custom 5x7 inch portrait, which will be painted once your order is place. It will be an original piece of art created using professional quality watercolors on acid free watercolor paper.

This is for one horse in the painting. Only the head and neck will be painted. If you would like more than one horse, please contact me first, as additional horses will cost more.

Once you place your order, you'll send me a clear digital photo of the horse using Etsy's messaging system. Please keep in mind:
- Your painting will closely resemble the photo submitted. Ensure the pose, tack, and details are what you want.
- The sharper the photo, the more accurate I can be.
- When choosing a photo, consider the position of both the horse's head and neck. If the photo is from the wrong angle, the neck will look distorted compared to the head. Also make sure the horse isn't chewing, yawning or doing something else that will distort the shape.
- I can usually remove a halter, but if there is a bridle in the photo, I will paint the bridle.
- If you are unsure of which photo to send me, please send multiples and I'll see which is most suited.

It can take 3-4 weeks to finish the portrait, depending on how many portraits are in the queue. I'll provide photos of progress throughout the process.

The portrait will be matted with an acid free mat (will fit a 8x10 inch frame) and inside of a cellophane sleeve. The mailing envelope is padded to further ensure the artwork is protected. A signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.
