Product code: 1930's Rare Lipstick Red (Attributed popular to Brydcka & Altman) Brooch

This 1930's beautiful glowing red brooch started its life in what was Czechoslovakia. The colour of the inserts is typical of B&A work. Floral, decorative back, & the whole arrangement of the piece says it all. Brydka & Altman worked at the same time as Neiger in Czechoslovakia. Their pieces are highly sought after & often mistaken for Neiger. They are wearable works of art.
Six oval claw set paste stones surround a circular cabochon sitting in the centre. Six tiny pinpoints of orangey red light up the central section. Eight outer claw set stones sit in the centre of flower shaped decorative settings. It has a darkened silver tone metal finish with a flower decoration on the reverse. Finished with a tube clasp this is a really glorious brooch. It stands out a mile off. Worn in the day or night it will glitter fabulously.
Length: 2 3/4"
Weight: 12 popular gms
No nibbles to any stones, beautiful condition.
Many thanks for looking, you might like some of my other pieces.
