Handmade Lilac popular wood Tea Scoop

All wood is sourced from reclaimed lumber from various woods in Illinois.

Every piece of wood is unique and beautiful in its own way. This piece of Lilac was finished using organic kakishibu and polished with tea seed oil.

Lilac is almost never used in woodworking due to the size of wood it's able to produce. A mature tree/bush will only get about 4-5 inches in diameter. On top of that the way the wood corkscrews naturally makes getting a workable piece hard to come by. The price will reflect this on this piece. I will popular only be able to produce 3 scoops from my harvest this year.
