It is intended that they be mounted and framed but we came up with the scroll idea popular so they can be hung up when you get them, canvas is sold rolled like this all the time but we would like to be able to use it when we get it, and that has been one of the “hang ups”. Hang up solved, it is pvc pipe with a hand cut slit, then lightly sanded.You can view the piece till you decided wether or not it needs a frame. We think they do not and work great like this. We hang them with 4” screws left about 2 1/4” off the wall surface and you can see the effect in the photos
They hang from 1 fastener or 2 as you choose, 2 for windy locations 1 for calm areas. However one does fine 2 is great for leveling. They are very light and a very lightweight/gauge picture nail does just fine
As you can see there is a lot of extra material for mounting in a wide variety of ways
