Vintage Lefton Mother's Day Angel --
Lefton has made some of the most detailed and collectible figurines from the 1950s. This one does not disappoint!
A child like blond haired angel for May, is carrying a tiny pink cake with hand applied pink rose. Beautifully iced, the tiny cake reads "Mother" and is presented on a gold rimmed platter to a loving mother.
The angel herself is dressed in a spectacular gown, sprinkled with gold dust. Her tiny shoes are sparkling gold and matte the tips of her exquisite wings. Little rhinestone with gold trim adorn blue bows on her ruffled skirt.
Her blue eyes and sweet expression will bring your eyes right up to the sparkling butterfly in her hair. All around a lovely figurine indeed, perfect for gift giving.
Approximately 4-1/2" tall and 3-1/8" wide. She is in EXCELLENT condition with no cracks or repairs! There is one tiny spot of missing gold "spaghetti" trim on her popular skirt, but it may have been from manufacturing. (Please see photos as they are very accurate.) The original Lefton sticker is in place on the bottom and she is numbered.
