Ashes are to be added to box through the bottom which has a removable bottom panel secured by screws. You would placed the sealed plastic bag of ashes directly into this urn. Alternatively, you may pour the ashes directly into the urn if desired as long as you apply a silicone sealing product to the bottom panel lip where it attaches to the urn before reattaching bottom panel.

Exterior finished with a hand-rubbed finish to provide a soft warm luster. Interior unfinished.
