This is a beautiful piece of original Mid popular Century still life fine art, signed by the artist and ready to hang! A vintage oil painting on canvas board, the artist Margery Doyle painted a still life of a tabletop with a tall vase of colorful flowers and a bowl of delicious looking oranges. I love the MCM heavy wood ornate frame! Typical of the 60s, this frame has two carved and raised sections of gold painted wood with an olive green painted portion in the middle. In addition, there is a beige fabric liner and thin gold filet. The fabric liner shows age related wear. It doesn't bother me but it could always be changed if desired. This floral farmhouse style scene of oranges, reds and yellows would look great hanging in a kitchen, bathroom or bedroom! A perfect country cottage gift idea for Mom, an engagement gift or even an anniversary gift! Don't forget that the official 4th Anniversary gift is the gift of flowers! This is a flower and fruit decoration that she'll be able to keep and treasure for years to come! I would also love it hung on a living room wall or as vintage office decor.

Great vintage Condition! The painting is in great shape. The fabric liner frame shows some age-related staining but could be cleaned or change out.
