popular Beautiful Balinese woodcarving representing a prancing horse startled by a monkey. This wooden sculpture is made of coromandel wood and dates back to 1930s. The sculpture is signed: W. Wibawa, Peliatan, Bali. Such woodcarving is typically done by the Pitah Maha group. Dimensions h x b x d: 57 cm x 19 cm x 10 cm; weight about 3,5 kg. The sculpture is in excellent condition.
