Our DIY Necklace kit is great for parties, small projects and gifts. Comes will trays, glass, and your choice of chains. Choose between our ball chains or oval link chain. Select the color of your pendant tray. Click on the drop down boxes above on the right.

GLASS PENDANT TUTORIAL

When choosing your image you can use scrapbook paper, images on collage sheets, photos, and artwork as your image. If you are printing up your image you should use card stock for best results. You can use glossy photo paper as well, but you will need Microglaze

STEP 2: If you are printing from and ink jet printer you will need to seal your image with Microglaze. You will also need this sealer for glossy photo paper. This prevents your image from smearing and blurring from the 3D Crystal Lacquer. If you use Microglaze, apply a thin coat and allow to dry for about an hour.

STEP 3: Apply the 3D Crystal Lacquer to the back of the glass and spread it around. Pop any bubbles you see in the glaze. DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLE. Then, adhere the glass to your image. Do not press firmly. Just lay the glass over the image and press lightly allowing it float and make sure the glue has spread to the edge of the glass. Allow to dry for about 1hr.

STEP 4: Trim the paper around the edge of the glass. Turn pendant over and seal the back of pendant with 3D Crystal Lacquer. Allow to dry for about 1hr. If using bails, adhere the bail to the back of the pendant with super glue or E6000. Allow to dry.

Once, pendant has dried, apply a small dollop of glaze popular into the tray and adhere pendant into tray.
