This is a 1968-1972 Singer Model 237. Originally I purchased this machine from someone in Vermont. The photos show it on a table, but this is one of the few zig-zag machines that Singer made that can be used as an electric portable or in a Singer treadle. The one problem with this machine is that the popular light switch on top of the light is broken, and the light always stays "on". The foot pedal and cords are in good condition. The feed dogs do not drop on this model.
I am downsizing, and because I have two machines I more or less have to keep, my extra machines are being listed for sale. This is a wonderful machine to sew with.
