SHOE CARE AND USE:
Leather Shoes
Like your own skin, leather shoes will stay looking great when regularly cleaned and moisturized. We recommend the following care regime of cleaning, conditioning, polishing and protecting.
Gently wipe shoes with a dry cloth to remove any dirt or dust. For stubborn dirt, first try a dampened cloth. If dirt still cannot be removed, mild soap and water may be used.
Rub shoes with olive oil or almond oil; oil-based leather treatments are also suitable.
Suede & Nubuck
Special care needs to be taken for both Suede & Nubuck. There is not much visible difference between the two. Suede leather has been sanded on the inner layer of the skin, while Nubuck is sanded on the outer or exterior skin of the animal, since the outside layer of a skin is tougher Nubuck tends to be more durable
Using a rubber eraser, remove dirt and smudges.
Use a soft brush to lightly brush shoes; always brush shoes in the same direction to avoid the appearance of being two different colors within opposite strokes. There are soft brushes designed specifically for use on suede/nubuck shoes which are ideal for use. Always avoid wire brushes and polish.
Textile Shoe
Lightly brush dirt and debris away using a light colored horsehair, or soft nylon brush.
Gently wipe with a damp, lint-free cloth.
Light dirt spots can be removed using Club Soda, seltzer water, or soda water and a toothbrush. Wipe to remove excess water and air dry. You can avoid water marks by "chasing" wet patches with a damp cloth.
General Care
We recommend that sometimes you allow your shoes a day's break
so that the sweat absorbed by your shoes can evaporate allowing for extended use..
When you are not wearing your shoes, store them in an area that is away from direct heat or cold. We also recommend protecting them from humidity.
Wet or damp shoes should be kept at room temperature only.
For quick drying, do not expose to sunlight, a hair dryer, or place near the heater. Otherwise, it is inevitable that you will have problems with the soles, adhesion, seams or skin.
Do not wash your shoes in any way ..
To remove sludge from your shoes, preferably allow to dry first and then wipe with a slightly damp cloth.
Even if the leather of the shoe you use is suitable for winter conditions, chemical solutions poured onto the floor to prevent icing during snowfall burn the skins of the shoes and then leave stains on them. Unfortunately, there is no solution.
If you use your shoes in rainy weather, you will shorten their life.
If you are not very sure about your knowledge of shoe care, do not interfere with your shoes yourself, you can always rely on skilled shoe experts.
Most shoes, except black, may vary in color after shoe repair.
