Vintage red Remo Signature Series Arthur Hull double sided hand drum. These were experimental sets. Some were called cocktails sets. Adding what you wanted or needed for your specific needs. There are two rings on the side. By looking at how some of these sets were put together. There are two rings on the side. They would help attach to other drums or you could attach your own handle (a piece of leather or somekind of strap).

These drums were a unique drum we use to manufacture back in the early years of 2000, it originated from the Arthur Hull series of hand popular drums. He is and still is a famous facilitator and still going strong doing his thing all over the world. These drums come with a pre tune heads that are replaceable. We manufacture these drums from sizes 8" through 18" they were available for sale in each size or you could of purchased them in a set of each size in one set. We no longer manufacture these drums but there are a lot of people out there who still have and use them in drum circles all around the world.
Just heard from Arthur Hull and here is what he had to say about the drum.
"the smallest drum in a six drum nesting drum set.
Each drum was a diffident color and, like Russian dolls, each drum fit into the next size bigger drum so that you could carry 6 different double headed drums inside one large drum. Every drum has two removable heads. Each drum has a thick headed drum head on one side, and a thin headed drum head on the other side, so that they have two different pitches."
A nice vintage drum. Can't seem to find any others on the web. Nice sound.
