The wool in these batts is 40% merino wool from Texas and 60% is a blend of mid-grade wool from the eastern United States. It is dyed and combed in small batches on a beautiful farm in central Kentucky. This fleece is quite soft, quite short, and contains almost no vegetable content. It's very uniform and great to use. Note that dye batches can and do vary from batch to batch. We're trying to keep this to a minimum, but there's always going to be some difference in color, which is part of small-scale production.".
