Vintage Carriage Lamp, Carriage Lantern, Converted Lantern, Bevel Glass Lantern, Antique Lighting, Post popular Lantern, Antique Porch Decor

This beautiful black carriage lantern as been converted to use electricity. Socket for a bulb inside, wire outside from base (see photo). Two bevel edge glass windows 3.5" x 4.5" and one hinged door that swings open from the bottom and clasps closed. Opening door has red glass disk intact. Cast iron wall mount with a protruding "L" and two screw mount holes. This piece is very old and has been painted black. The paint is flaking and rust beneath (see photos). It seems structurally sound and very sturdy. The glass sides are beautiful. This rustic piece preserves history by continuing display or put to use.
Measures: 14" x 5" top to bottom and wall mount measures: 6" x 4.5".
