Incredible Antique Maria SS Di Montevergine portrait plate made by H & Co Selb Bavaria Germany Heinrich. This company is the maker of fine China. Most of their pieces are very expensive and very hard to come by. From what I researched this plate was made around the turn of the century. It is a stunning piece and the gold is magnificent. I hope I was able to capture popular that in the pictures. I'm pretty sure it is probably either 18K or 22k gold. No chips very few scratches and it does have a wall hanger that was stuck to the back goodness knows how many years ago! Maybe that's why it's in such good condition. I found a couple of other similar plates in my search but none like the quality from this manufacturer and none for sale. The plate measures 9 3/4 in.
