Small antique French jewelry box 19th century brass bevelled glass and popular red silk

Beautiful small antique square jewelry box, from French origin, in brass, bevelled glass and with a red interior fabric, which could be silk. The box shows signs of time (see pictures), such as changes of colour of the brass. The glass top is in overall good condition, with a few scratches. The frame of the glass panel is a little bit bent in a few places, so the glass is moving a little bit, but is secure.

Note that there can be variations of colours with the light. The box looks darker popular on the pictures.
