Vintage MCM Stoneware, popular Lidded Casserole, ART POTTERY, Hand Thrown Studio, Earthenware, Bean Pot, Sand Spotted, Native American Indian Design
Unique 2 quart covered dish/lidded casserole dish/bean pot/or even canister art.
Unique 2 quart covered dish/lidded casserole dish/bean pot/or even canister art pottery has a unique pattern of 7 wings or feathers, maybe even the Native symbol for Summer. It uses both black and cobalt blue for the accent color, over a greenish tan base with chocolate brown sand spotted speckles. It has a 1970's feel, it's hand thrown and studio art, is my best guess. It has a Carole Armstrong vibe. It's unsigned.
Measures 7 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" tall. Lid is nice and snug, both pieces are in near mint condition, with absolutely no chips, breaks, nicks, irregularities besides a few minute production specks. Perfect popular for your hutch, kitchen or foyer table centerpiece, or for gifting.
I ship within a day of cleared payment. Please reach out with any questions, and thanks for looking.
