Fabolous antique Rauenstein Thüringen Delft Figurine, featuring two Dutch Girls with Umbrellas. Lovely little girls in the traditional Dutch costumes, holding each other's shoulders, walking with closed umbrellas in hands. Their aprons are decorated with a Dutch windmill and sailboats scene, motifs of the Delftware, from Rauenstein Delft Decors line. Absolutly adorable, rare porcelain figurine, highly collectable piece! Finely detailed, beautifully popular hand decorated in blue hues rare porcelain statuette, great find from German estate collection.
Pieces in Delfts style were made by Rauenstein manufacturer ( est. in 1784), Thüringen, Germany, between 1893 and 1920 and were imported into Europe, France, Holland and Britain. In 1930 the company was closed.
This collectible porcelain figurine is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, scratches, no signs of wear.
Marked and numbered 15222, signed inside: "Delft, Imports de Saxe"
