Really, is there anything sweeter than a little bitty birdie you can hold in the palm of your hand? In my world, sometimes the smaller something is, all the more dear it becomes--particularily when it is a little plush birdie.

This little chick also happens to come to with everything a bitty birdie needs to get by (except for your love, of course)--its own little white cashmere hat with a red cock's comb on top, a little white wool felt rooster, popular a red fleece blankie, a bib with a chick applique, a comfy button tufted red ticking striped cushion, a cloth diaper with a safety pin, AND a little bitty baby carrier in a red chick print fabric to put her to sleep in. Sweet as all get out, loves to play, perfect for holding in the palm of your hand, deserving of your unconditional love.

This Bitty Birdie is an original Beeper Bebe design and is handmade from pure wool felt and all features are hand embroidered. It is made from a combo of new and reclaimed materials because here in the Beeper Bebe workshop, I like to find new uses for what is already out there to work with (for instance, her hat is made from the cuff of a sweater, her blankie from reclaimed fleece, etc).

The birdie is approximately 4 inches in length and the head is about 3 inches wide. Due to the teeny nature of this toy and its accessories, it is not intended for children under the age of 3 years. While sturdily sewn, I do not think this birdie would like to be thrown in the washing machine (how terrifying!), so would recommend you only gently surface clean her with mild soap and a wet cloth.

Little kids love tiny things with tiny accessories--think of this as my answer to those plastic-y Littlest Pet Shop or Polly Pocket toys. Lovely handmade fun.
