Flat Clay Tea Pot - popular Hiragata Kyusu

This luxury Clay Tea Pot (Kyusu) made in Tokoname, Aichi Japan. Tokoname is one of the Six Ancient Kilns (Bizen, Echizen, Seto, Shigaraki, Tamba) of Japan, and its pottery production goes back to 12th century. The wide and flat "Hiragata" format of the Kyusu enables tea leaves to spread quickly and equally, which allows for optional umami extraction. This tea pot is best using high grade Japanese popular green teas such as our Organic Fukamushi Sencha.
