Collectible modern art statue of a Mother with nude infant. This popular lovely artwork is in antique copper topcoat over alabaster. The Mother has short hair sitting and wearing a long gown cuddling a naked child to her body. She looks to the side as if the child is whispering how he loves his momma in her ear.
There are no maker's marks or signatures. The statue sits on a small wood base. Very reminiscent of the this artist's idea of the famous Medici Madonna statue by Michelangelo.
