Presented is an antique, American coin silver serving spoon made by Sayre and Richards of New York during the very early 19th century. This piece was made between 1800 and 1810. The handle is done in a classic Coffin End pattern and the front bears an old, original monogram of the initials JHB.
This piece is marked S & R for Sayre and Richards. Tested and guaranteed to be 900 coin purity silver.
This piece is in great overall condition, especially considering age. There is some very slight denting to the bowl, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection.
