Popular C. 1930's Meito China Cecil Fruit Bowl Set of 8 Hand Painted in Japan

This Japanese porcelain fine china fruit/ dessert bowl set service for eight was made by the Meito China Co. and it was hand painted in Japan in the Cecil pattern that they produced around the 1930's. This set was hand painted by a skilled craftsman who painted lovely hibiscus and cherry blossom with a popular bright blue geometric border design that has Roman style scroll at the end. These bowls measure 5 3/8" wide by 1 1/4" tall and they are in 'Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing to the glaze, and very little wear to the set for the age of it minor scuffs only.
