A beautifully hand-carved wood frame that dates back to the late 1800s. The carvings are detailed and gorgeous!

Hand-carved wood beading surrounds the intricate wood carving work of detailed leafs and foliage, including a fruit that could be grapes or large berries. An aged patina and faint hint of green top off this stunning frame. (See closeup photos for detail).

The outside dimensions of the frame measure 27.5-inches X 15.75-inches (across the frame) with a depth of .5 inches. The frame itself measures 3-inches wide. Inside dimensions are: 21.75-inches X 10-inches.

The frame is in good, antique condition (considering its very old age). It is solid and tightly held together. A 'bead' is missing in one corner. Where the wood meets at its joists, there is minor separation from cold and heat over time. The carvings are completely in tact and beautiful.

A stunning carved popular wood from that would complement any Victorian or antique decor!
