ANTIQUE ROYAL WORCESTER Turquoise Blue Enameled
CABINET PLATE
This is a beautiful antique cabinet plate made in the 1800s. The plate is in excellent vintage condition and it shows some signs of use. However this is consistent with age and it adds to the charm of the plate. It is decorated with hand painted and hand enameled Ivy leafs. The plate is further embellished with hand decorated gold band and gold line around the rim. (See pictures) The pictures don't exactly show the beauty of this plate as gold decoration is very difficult to photograph. The plate is much popular nicer and detailed than I can show in the pictures. It is back stamped with the impressed under-glaze Worcester stamp which is very difficult to picture but fairly visible to the naked eye.
The plates measure about 9", 23.3cm in diameter
