Paul de Longpre White Roses Antique Print.

Antique Paul de Longpre white roses print. Printed in 1900 by the Gray Lithographic Company of New York, it is a chromolithograph calendar panel for May-June 1901, for the Upson Walton Company of Cleveland, Ohio. In Victorian times, the white rose symbolized the virtue of Innocent Love. These roses are just superbly executed, with hints of pink on the petals and rosebuds. Overall size is aprox 10 3/8 x 14 inches, in VG condition. Very clean with some aging at the edges, will frame up beautifully. You decide if you want to crop out the calendar info for a stand popular alone roses image picture, it would be 10 x 10 inches (add a mat to bring it up to a larger size). An outstanding gift item for that special someone or treat yourself! These old rose prints are getting so hard to find, and this one is really exceptional.
