The set is in the original box and the box shows moderate to significant signs of wear..
I believe the set was originally personalized as I cleaned off an area that would have held an engraved brass plate.

The base is shiny and bright and the pens are untested popular ...but i believe this set has been stored away...so like new condition and in the original box.
