USA Carhartt 6C Chore Coat / Custom Colored - Size 48 "Gold"
.

These are Unlined Chore Coats and were made to be worn loose and oftentimes over a sweater or sweatshirt.

PLEASE NOTE DIMENSIONS - AS THESE COATS WERE WASHED AND DYED & THERE IS VARIATION IN THE SIZING

Coats are not as large as the chest measurement would make it appear, as they are meant to be full cut for work.

(NOTE –

It has come to our attention that some of the coats have a sewing irregularity. The action back flange is tacked at different heights.

It does not affect the wearing, and truly can't really be felt.

When this sewing irregularity was pointed out, I inspected the two coats that I have owned since the 1980's. One of the two had the Left and Right action back seams tacked at different heights.

If this concerns you, please ask us to look at the particular coat you want and we will examine it.)

Use the shoulder measurement to guide the size you need for actual fit - Of course you may want the jacket to fit tighter or looser.
Size 48
Chest 52 "
Shoulder 22 "
Length - Bottom of collar to hem - 29 "
Sleeve - Center neck to cuff edge - 35 "

New Old Stock Item. Manufactured in 1980's

This was the best little style Carharrt made.

Sadly, they discontinued it.

It is unlined and a great knock around hip length jacket. Perfect under a big sweater in the Fall and Spring.

popular JACKETS ARE NOT COLORFAST.

While the jacket's coloring is stable under most circumstances, the dyes are NOT COLORFAST.

The jacket should be Dry Cleaned.

Dyes will run.

Cold water washing will diminish the color saturation.

After a few washings - the jacket will eventually become lighter and lighter in color - and eventually settle into a “Light Yellow” (Which is still very attractive)

The jacket should not be washed with whites or other light colors, and should be removed immediately after washing if mixed with other items.

If the jacket is worn in the rain and is soaked through, there is a possibility of the color running through onto a garment beneath the jacket.
.
Machine drying is possible, but will shrink the Jacket as it is made of 100% Cotton.

Hang drying is best – unless you want to shrink it.
