Product code: FujiFilm Discovery 312 Zoom Brand popular new
Brand new! The Fujifilm DL-312 Zoom (aka Discovery 312 Zoom) is a high-quality zoom point-and-shoot from the mid-90s. It features excellent ergonomics and ease-of-use but also a very sophisticated lens and large assortment of features. The January 1996 issue of Popular Photography featured a review of this camera (under its Discovery 312 Zoom moniker). The reviewer's biggest quibble seemed to be the 312 Zoom's louder-than-average zoom motor, otherwise it is glowing. Here's an excerpt: The specs are top-notch: seven-element EBC Fujinon 38-120mm zoom, with two aspheric surfaces, 600-plus focusing zones in the active system, and a bunch of intriguing features. And complicated as all get-out popular to operate, right? On the contrary, this is without question one of the simplest-operating cameras we've come across since we've been testing these beasties. All basic functions and modes are set with a big dial with clearly legible icons.
