Mid Centuiry popular Empoli Amber Optic Glass

Elegant Italian Empoli optic glass compote in stunning amber. The bowl has very graceful lines with a gentle sawtooth top edge. The bowl sits on a beautiful hollow clear stem that fades to a solid amber base.

I'm dating this to popular the 1950's but I believe this piece is much earlier, especially because of the air bubbles in the footing and the slight ripples in the amber glass . This piece could go back to the late 1800s.
