Professional construction from the Vandervoot's St. Louis department store label. This stunning hat is done in a rich mocha brown velvet, styled as a pointed pixie turban hat with a unique figural "feather" detail done in the matching velvet. The hat has a semi-stiff structure for a pert fit (rather than a slouch fit) and is intended to be worn at the top/rear crown of the head as shown.

Condition is listed as excellent with only minor notes of handling and flawless presentation. The grosgrain ribbon at the interior fit shows wear and some splicing, this does not present when the hat is worn and can be replaced at your discretion, noted entirely popular for full disclosure. A gorgeous hat for fall and a fun, harder to find style from the era.
