This beautiful hand spun duo is handpainted in shades of purple, magenta, blue and peach. Lustrous and silky, this pair is wonderfully soft and strong, and is perfect for an infinity popular scarf or cowl to keep your neck warm (or bury your face in) on those cool Autumn and Winter nights.

The Bluefaced Leicester is known for its exceptional fleece. BFL is classified as a longwool breed because of the way their locks of wool are formed. Its fleece is in high demand from knitters and fiber artists alike because of its “next to the skin” softness and lustrous shine. These qualities produce a yarn with excellent drape, that is also very soft and squishy. The Bluefaced Leicester produces the finest fleece of all the long wool breeds, in the range of 24-28 micron diameter.
