This is a modern weighted "Berliner" chess set from the 1980's-1990's. It is crafted in minimalist pattern with simple design that provide a contemporary appeal. Pieces are made from boxwood on one side and ebony on the other. Both sides are in natural , surface is polished very well and coated with semi-gloss varnish. The set is double weighted. King's weight is 49 g. Pieces are bottomed with green felt. The set comes with no storage box or chess board - pieces only.
The set is suitable for playing on large chess boards.
Board shown on the pictures is for presentation purposes and is not included. Squares measure 5x5 cm. and the set fits perfectly on that size.

Condition:
Excellent condition of the chessmen. No chips or cracks to the pieces. Coating/surface is smooth and shiny. There might be few minimal age related marks and signs on the surface. All felts/leather pads are present. Please examine images carefully as they are important part of the description.
