Hi! We are new to Etsy and have some lovely and rare vintage German school charts for sale!
This one in particular is of the anatomy of a bat! Originally published by Jung-Koch-Quentell around 1970s.
The image and layout of the print is incredible and the large size of the chart is the perfect popular way to fill in a lovely big space at home.
Rather than finding an expensive print that you'll then have to frame this will be a much more convenient option (with just one nail).
The German charts are well known for their high quality as these were built to be durable being use by children in lessons on a regular basis. These chart were used in class rooms prior to light projectors.
The paper print is carefully stuck to canvas and the top and bottom ends are attached to solid wooden poles which give the chart weight to fully roll out without having to flatten them first.
The measurements:
Width (with poles): 94cm
Width (without poles): 83cm
Length: 118cm
These charts have been kept mostly protected in a school basement before we got hold of them.
They were used on a regular basis and will show slight tear and wear but this only adds the aesthetic in our opinion.
There are more photos to show you the condition of this individual print and to detail any flaws. Don't hesitate to get in touch and we are more than happy to provide more information.
The condition of this print is overall good. There is a larger rip/hole at the middle top (please see photo) and a few small scratches and creases here and there.
We have more on charts on offer and will be adding more larger scale art prints soon.
Thanks for checking us out and let us know if you have any questions!
