The item shown is a custom pet portrait I have created for a customer. Customers send me a photograph of their pet and I create these beautiful pieces.
I learned about this art form while in Scotland and fell in love with it.. i am self taught and have been felting for over 3 years now. Each piece is original.

All the pieces are made from raw wool, alpaca, silk wool blend and some of my customers have asked if I can add their pets hair for a memorial as well.
Portraits are done on an 8 1/2×11" felt background.
BECAUSE THESE ARE HANDMADE CUSTOM ORDERS, EACH PIECE TAKES ABOUT TWO WEEKS TO MAKE.
