It was the first year for Barbie to have a twisting waist and was very popular so used for several early dolls. The legs on this body would originally have 3 click positions on each leg. This one has 3 clicks on one leg and 2.. almost 3 on the other. See photos for explanation It reads 1966 Mattel, Inc./U.S. Patented/U.S Pat Pend. Made in Japan you can use this body for any early Barbie with fair, pink skin.
