Lundar popular sweater for Kids from Faroeknit. Knitted from pure Faroese wool, in the Faroe Islands by Faroese knitting ladies

Stunningly beautiful wool sweater for kids, hand-knit from finest Faroese wool yarn from Snældan. This is suitable as a girls gift or a boys gift. Because of its unisex design, the sweater can without problems, be inherited by younger siblings.

Lundar is the Faroese word for puffins. We have cute Puffins in the Faroe Islands each year.

The lanolin-rich wool yarn from Snældan is combed to remove all the hair, and the result is a wool yarn which is soft and insulating. Faroese wool is known for its natural lanolin content, making it water repellent. Its special mix of coarse and fine fibres also makes it ideal for insulating against both heat and cold.

Finished sizes of the sweater
Sizes are knitted in 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 years. On pictures is shown a size 6. When choosing the size, the chest size is the most important, since the other sizes can popular easily be adjusted according to the length of arms and upper body of the child.

Size 2 years: Lenght: 38 cm (15.2"). Chest circumference: 64 cm (25.6") Sleeve length to underarm: 28 cm (11.2”).
Size 4 years: Length: 42 cm (16.8”). Chest circumference: 68 cm (27,2”). Sleeve length to underarm: 30 cm (12”).
Size 6 years: Length: 46 cm (18.4"). Chest circumference: 72 cm (29”). Sleeve length to underarm: 32 cm (13”).
Size 8 years: Length: 50 cm (20"). Chest circumference: 78 cm (31”). Sleeve length to underarm: 36 cm (14.4”).
Size 10 years: Length: 52 cm (21”). Chest circumference: 80 cm (32”). Sleeve length to underarm: 37 cm (15”).
Size 12 years: Length: 54 cm (22”). Chest circumference: 84 cm (33.6”). Sleeve length to underarm: 38 cm (15.2”).
