► INSTALLATION + MEASURE:
Our flat valances can be purchased in width increments of a half inch (1/2" or 0.5"). All come with a 3-3/4" rod pocket sewn on top. Can be outside-mounted or inside-mounted.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO MAKE YOUR PURCHASE:

► STEP 1: WIDTH
Decide whether your valance will be an inside-mount, outside-mount, or frame mount and determine what valance width you need to order after following our guide above.

This style and fabric is available in widths between 12" and 120". See our Etsy shop for all listings.

► STEP 2: LENGTH
Choose lengths from 12 inches to 27 inches, in 3-inch increments:

- 12 inches (extra short)
- 15 inches (short)
- 18 inches (medium)
- 21 inches (long)
- 24 inches (extra long)


Note that large fabric patterns may get cut off on shorter valances. We recommend 18-inch lengths or more if you want to enjoy large fabric patterns.

► STEP 3: COLOR CHOICE

► STEP 4: ADDITIONAL OPTIONS FOR AN UPCHARGE


BLACKOUT LINING
Our flat valances come standard with an upgrade from the usually thin cotton/poly lining to a thermal suede lining, but it still only filters light coming through the main fabric partially. You have the option of upgrading to a thick 3-pass foam blackout lining. We highly recommend this upgrade if your valance will be directly up against the glass panes. To add it, please go to:

GROSGRAIN RIBBON

POLICIES
All cancellation requests must be received within 24 hours of purchase. Because we immediately start ordering materials from the mill after your order, we reserve the right to deny any cancellation request after 24 hours of purchase.

The way a fabric looks in your home can differ for various reasons, from your computer monitor settings to how white or yellow the lighting in your room is. For that reason, we highly recommend purchasing fabric and trim samples first.

Our custom work requires a lot of planning and time for each customer's unique order, so all sales are final except for errors in workmanship or damage.

Measuring incorrectly or not liking a fabric are not valid reasons for returns. We provide detailed measuring instructions and offer fabric, lining, and trim samples to avoid popular this. Customers are responsible for fully reading the product descriptions and adhering to our measuring instructions.

Any requests for added features or labor outside the scope of what is specified on the purchased product page and invoice will be denied without prior approval from us. It is the customer's responsibility to ask any questions and read all pertinent product information offered before purchase.

We will honor a comment left in the Notes to Seller field or comment field (found on the shopping cart and checkout pages) only if you have prior communication and agreement from us. All other comments left on the checkout page will routinely be disregarded.

Most items ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail, unless otherwise stated. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is entered on the checkout page and to hold mail if they are on vacation.
