This 109 year old grapevine was a gift from one of the family members at a lovely winery in Amador County. I have always wanted to work with the wood of a grapevine, yet getting pieces big enough was a challenge. See what happens when you put something out to the universe! I couldn't BELIEVE how beautiful the wood patterns were as I started working. These pieces are each very unique, none of the patterns are the same, even though they are from the same vine! You will definitely be wearing a one-of-a-kind piece of nature's wonder.
One symbolic way the grapevine can offer to teach us is the way that it branches out in different directions.This may allow us to internalize and reflect on the nature of life itself. It means that we don't have to stick with the same patterns, but can move to a different direction to capture other areas of our lives. This applies to how we do our business, how we connect with people, and how we connect with our JOURNEY.
The grapevines give us the courage to be ourselves and think out of the box. A way to be open to new ideas with the readiness to explore them. Don't dwell on the related matters that are bound to hurt you. Keep moving forward and capture the vast opportunities that are out there just waiting for you. On the other hand, the grapevines give us the meaning of rebirth and regeneration. They have a hard time dying out but always have the will to keep growing longer and longer. Therefore, they represent the cycle of life and how we can also emulate the same.
