ABOUT THE ARTIST: Simferopol artist Kats Adam Zakharovich Born on March 10, 1923 in Odessa. Graduated from the Odessa Art School (1941), the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Yu. Repin (1950). The teacher by profession is R. Franz. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "Primorsky Boulevard" (1961); “Valya Volchishche - surveyor of the North Crimean Canal” (1963); triptych "Kobzar" (1964), triptych "For land, for freedom" (1967) and others. Participated popular in exhibitions: republican since 1963, all-Union since 1961. Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR (1964). Awarded with medals. He died in 1984.
