This elastic waist is not loose but very comfortable. It's oversized but I can see my ankle and it makes me look slim. The fabric feels very very soft and I love it!

It reaches above my ankles. First I thought it might be too long for me, but I'm happy to find that I can wear it as cropped pants! It may make you comfy even in humid season like in Japan.
