Beautifully hand crafted Haitian Folk Art popular carved solid wood statue of a man who looks like a healer or medicine man. Note the snake winding upward in front of the figure. He has possibly a medicine bag over his shoulder and in his hand. This piece is very large at 20 tall. Selling for a friend who brought this back from Haiti over 35 years ago in the 1980s. Skillfully hand carved and has a nice overall worn/smoothness showing its age. It is in fantastic vintage condition. Please see all photos zoom/enlarge) for complete condition.
