This sturdy set of bowls is glazed in one of my favorite glazes - shino - and the reduction firing worked its magic! The typical orange has become copper colored and shows crackling, iron spotting, and beautiful texture where it breaks on the carved lines. Lovely. These bowls are perfect for pasta, salad, or whatever else you choose to serve in low, wide, bowls, they will add beauty to your table or make a perfect gift.

Made of wheel thrown stoneware which has been fired to 2300 degrees, SJF Pottery pieces are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe, and the glaze is lead free, which makes them food safe.
