"Moon Light" is a seven-color serigraph (silkscreen)depicting a loon bobbing among waterlilies under a peaceful moon.

From the edition of 30, only four serigraphs remain; these are the Artist's Proofs. Contact me if you want to see photos of the specific "Moon Light" serigraphs available so that you can select the one you want. Artists Proofs are the first few serigraphs in the edition run and typically contain variations not present in the signed/numbered edition.

"Moon Light" was hand-printed through an Organdy screen. Organdy is a coarser fabric than what is more commonly used in the screen process. Unlike finer fabrics, Organdy contains more "flaws" that impart unique irregularities to the artwork. The second photo (above) shows the "stair-step" edges that are more pronounced with an Organdy screen. Also, you can see the texture effect produced when the fabric holds back some of the ink (like where the turquoise color shows through the night sky.)

Size: 17.5" Wide X 12" High print image plus ample margins
Limited Edition of 30

Each serigraph as subtle variations making each one unique and truly one of a kind. Each is signed/dated and numbered by the artist.

Unless otherwise stated, my serigraphs are hand-printed using lacquer-base inks through a single fabric screen.
Please see my Etsy Profile for additional information about my printing process.

Serigraph is shrink-wrapped on foam-core and shipped flat. Handle serigraph artworks with care and do not flex, bend or roll serigraphs as that may damage the ink surface of the image. popular
