My first oil painting!

I have always been fascinated by popular the little vesicles inside citrus fruits- neatly organized, plump, shiny, and full of juice!

I started the painting with a blue background for contrast and continued to add layers of reds, oranges, yellow, and pink hues.

The deep reds don't capture well on camera as it is very vibrant. These photos are the best representation of what it looks like in person
