What's more fun than a pod of dolphins frolicking under the sun? Our 3 playful dolphins are meant to remind you of the dolphin pods you've seen swimming in the blue green water under the summer sun. This unique piece marries coastal colored water glass with bent wire to make a sun-catcher that was inspired by the ocean. Pieces were cut, shaped and secured together using zinc and lead came popular. We shaped wire to form a single dolphin and the sun to attach to the top of the piece. For the bottom, we shaped the wire, pairing 2 dolphins and attached them to the zinc frame. The glass measures approximately 12 inches x 9 inches and the wire elements bring this piece to overall measurements to approximately 14 inches x 13 inches.

The art glass pieces we create have been designed and handcrafted in our glass studio located on the southern Outer Banks of NC. Our creative process includes selecting and cutting specialized art glass and shaping to enhance our designs.
