Bread Box popular Pine Chip Carved

This bread box is another project from the book 'Making Swedish Country Furniture and Household Things'. I made this box out of pine, and then added a twelve point chip carved rosette on the lid. I didn't use any glue for the joinery, just 8 penny nails. It is popular the same principal used for 'six board chests'. The sides and back are tapered a bit, with dimensions being 17 W x 11 D x 13 H . A video of how I made it can be seen here.
