What should popular I consider before ordering?

There are two basic categories of HO Slot Cars: Traction Magnet Cars and Vintage T-Jet Style Cars.

Traction 'magnet' cars have 'magnet' downforce and will run very fast right out of the packaging.

Vintage Style NOS (New-Old-Stock) Aurora T-Jet 500 cars will require regular maintenance including tuning, cleaning, and oiling just like they did back in the day. AURORA's classic ‘Pancake' TJet chassis design from the 1960's is the preferred choice of racing clubs and vintage slot car enthusiasts.

Most slot car enthusiasts are adults. There are adult racing clubs all over the country dedicated to racing both Vintage Style and Traction Magnet Style slot cars. Please do not purchase if you are unsure of the skills and commitment required to race and maintain HO Slot Cars and track.
